Apex provides various timber and woodland solutions. Focusing operations predominently on mobile sawmilling and the supply of sawn timber. Apex also offer woodland management, forestry planning, tree surgery and timber grading services.

Apex provides a mobile custom cutting service using one of the most advanced portable automated swingblade circular sawmill available.

The mill used, a Peterson ASM, is capable of cutting lengths of 23', and sizes up to 20½” by 10¼” beams, or slabs of up to 5’ width. It has the largest depth of cut for any swing blade mill in the World.

The mill can produce 1.5 to 2m3 per hour under normal operational conditions, and has cut 3.5 m3 per hour in a competition environment. The ASM sawmill is unique in its level of portability and quality of cut.
